What you get when you licence data and models
For the route you buy, you get the full foreground system, open to inspection: the unit processes, the flows and the assumptions behind them. Where a model draws on upstream materials, those arrive as connected impacts. You see the contribution each one makes without holding the upstream model yourself. If you want to go deeper on any upstream step, those models are available individually.

How you can use the models
Your licence covers use inside your organisation for the purposes agreed at purchase. Where a model has been critically reviewed, that review covers the model as we built it. It does not extend to results you produce by combining our model with third-party data, or to comparative claims published from another tool. If you intend to make public comparative assertions, talk to us first. Those usually require a panel review.

Can I buy a model today?
Yes, where the route has already been built and reviewed. We’ll confirm availability, licence the model, and make it available in your XYCLE workspace so your team can inspect and use it straight away.
What if the route I need is not available yet?
We scope it as a model build. You share the material, process route, geography and decision need; we agree the data requirements, price and delivery window; then Minviro builds the model and hands it into your workspace under licence.
Do I need XYCLE to use a model?
The best experience is inside XYCLE because you can inspect the foreground system, connect the model to products and keep scenarios live. If you are not a XYCLE user, we can discuss viewer-only access or a documented data export instead.
What does the licence cover?
The licence covers use inside your organisation for the agreed purpose and model route. It does not automatically cover publishing comparative claims, re-selling the model, or using outputs outside the agreed context without review.
Are the models critically reviewed?
Where a model is marked as reviewed, the review applies to the model as built by Minviro, including its stated assumptions and boundaries. If you combine it with third-party data or use it to make public comparative claims, we’ll advise whether additional review is needed.
What do we receive after purchase?
You receive access to the licensed model, its foreground system and supporting documentation. Upstream impacts are connected so you can see their contribution, and deeper upstream models can be licensed separately when you need full inspection.
