Founded from PhD research
Where it started
A journey towards minimal environmental impact
Minviro began with Robert Pell's PhD research into material intensive supply chains. Recognising that existing LCA tools couldn't capture the complexity of industrial supply chains, we built our methodology and consultancy service, and later XYCLE, from the science up. That research foundation is still what every result rests on today.
The energy transition won’t be won by ambition alone, it will be won by millions of everyday decisions made across global supply chains. I started Minviro because I wanted the science to live where those decisions happen: in procurement meetings, design reviews, boardrooms, and project sites. If we can make impact measurable, transparent, and decision-grade, we give people the power to change what gets built.
